The park is near Felton on Highway 9 in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Traveling from San Jose to the main entrance: Take Highway 17 toward Santa Cruz. After you go over the mountains, turn right on Mt. Hermon Road. Follow Mt. Hermon road until it ends at Graham Hill Road. Turn left on Graham hill and go up a steep hill, and about a mile down the other side. On your right, you will see an entrance for Henry Cowell Camping. We will post a flyer at the camp entrance indicating where we are located. Unfortunately, specific site reservations are not allowed.

 Here is the latest information on the Autumnal Fiesta!

1) A change of Location - HENRY COWELL REDWOODS. Unfortunately, New Brighton State Beach is Closed for renovation for a year. Therefore, I have made reservations for us at HCRSP.

2) Food - Bring what you like for desert, snacks, etc. As promised, Dinner and Breakfast will be provided. If you object to Pasta and French Toast, please bring your own dinner/breakfast.

3) Riders - The ride to HCRSP is actually a few miles shorter. Nevertheless, please be prepared for a challenging ride over a significant hill! Also, we will not go over the final steep hill that the drivers are taking (in case you've read the driving section!)

Things to note:

Remember: Drivers should expect to arrive by 3:00PM. Festivities will last into the evening. Sunset is at 6:30.

Things to do include: frisbee, hiking, special activites, and Swimming?!?!? in the San Lorenzo River, and seeing cool people. For those who are still adamant about seeing the pacific ocean, it is a 5 mile ride down to Santa Cruz Beaches. Public bus services are available for the return trip.
